Thanks to the generous donations from alumni and friends, the College of Engineering has hundreds scholarships that provide financial support for admitted and enrolled undergraduate engineering students.


Jon Kuhl, professor of electrical engineering and researcher at the UI Public Policy Center and the Iowa Institute for Biomedical Imaging, has been appointed interim associate dean for academic programs in the College of Engineering, effective January 1, 2017.
Two College of Engineering alumni have been honored by the Corridor Business Journal as member of its "40 Under 40" class of 2016.  They join Fatima Toor, assistant professor of electrical and computer engineering, who earlier was recognized for the honor.
