Student Sustainability Forum

Thursday, April 15, 2021, 10:00am to 12:00pm

This discussion forum is intended for students from different universities to discuss what exactly sustainability looks like at their respective school. Topics for discussion will include working with university administration, engaging people who are apathetic about sustainability initiatives, environmental justice and how to implement it in a university setting, successful and unsuccessful projects, turning sustainable ideas into action, and many more!

The UI Office of Sustainability and the Environment is co-hosting the One Sustainable Iowa Earth Month Symposium during the entire month of April.  The Symposium will consist of free virtual programming offered by numerous Iowa colleges and universities.

Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to attend all University of Iowa–sponsored events. If you are a person with a disability who requires a reasonable accommodation in order to participate in this program, please contact Beth MacKenzie in advance at 319-384-3415 or elizabeth-k-mackenzie@uiowa.edu.
